BORN AND RAISEDMost people associate India with yoga. But when I was in 8th grade, I was fascinated with the idea of karate. In the next three years I was a state level champion, had a brown belt and was proud of my ass-kicking skills. Here’s a video of our annual fest where you’ll see me punching walls, breaking a few tiles with my bare foot and braving a motorbike riding over my stomach only to trip over a pebble at the end of the show, in front of the whole damn school.
